JOB SUMMARY:
Supervise Staff Assistants and manage loan operations through the production of loan documents & supporting documentation. Ensure loan files are kept orderly, and monitor loan file documentation for accuracy and exceptions as well as monitoring for compliance/lending regulations. Provide reports as needed for Department Manager and Loan Officer Review.
RESPONSIBILITIES:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a. Supervise loan operations staff to ensure all daily work, reports and tasks are completed correctly and timely.
b. Ensure that loan operations are adequately staffed and that all personnel are trained.
c. Set priorities and organize the administrative workload.
d. Ensure loan files are kept orderly and monitor loan file documentation exceptions.
e. Assist Loan Officers in support of the customers.
f. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Community President, loan officers and department managers.
g. Other duties as assigned which may include preparing Senior Loan Committee packets and having Administrator access to loan related bank systems.
REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications:
1. Four years of experience in the lending department or work experience.
2. Supervisory experience preferred.
3. Bookkeeping and accounting experience preferred.
4. Must possess administrative and organizational skills.
5. Must be assertive and possess excellent decision-making abilities.
6. Keyboarding and computer skills required.
7. Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
8. Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive
motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.
