We are seeking a motivated, organized individual for our entry-level Accounts Payable Representative position at our corporate headquarters in Wheat Ridge, CO. The ideal candidate will have current comprehensive accounts payable experience (1-3 years). Transportation or logistics experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Daily posting of payments for selected vendors
- Daily posting of our Accounts Payable prepayment board
- Daily posting of selected vendor invoices & validating for accuracy for the weekly check run
- Send & collect ACH/Wire forms and ensure accuracy of payment remittance information
- Reconciliation of vendor statements
- Respond to Vendor & Licensee inquiries via phone and email
- Distribute emails from the Accounts Payable email box to prospective specialists
- Distribute invoices from the Accounts Payable Folder in the Global Search to prospective specialists
- Utilize industry-specific AP software applications and QuickBooks
- Process USPS incoming mail
Job Qualifications:
- College degree (2 years) preferred, but not necessary
- One to three years in Accounts Payable
- Excellent verbal & telephone & email communication skills, customer service, and customer relationship building skills are necessary
- Moderate understanding of MS Excel & Office, with 10-key skills
- QuickBooks and Trans Soft experience a plus
- Accurate Typing skills with a minimum of 50 words per minute
