Staff Manager – Medical Practice
Our busy and growing plastic surgery practice is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care. From physicians to office staff, our entire team is committed to professional excellence and the use of advanced technology to ensure exceptional outcomes for our patients.
We are seeking an experienced Staff Manager with strong human resources and healthcare management experience to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, organized, and motivated professional with a proven ability to lead people and operations within a medical practice.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to attract and retain top talent.
· Administer employee benefits.
· Plan and conduct new employee onboarding to foster engagement and alignment with practice goals.
· Manage employee performance review and development programs.
· Prepare and manage the human resources budget.
· Oversee training initiatives to ensure staff competency and compliance.
· Ensure all HR operations and interactions are well documented
· Serve as the primary resource for policy interpretation and conflict resolution
· Own handbook updates and policy rollouts
· Maintain personnel files and updated job descriptions
· Respond to and manage any patient concerns as they relate to interactions with the employees or practice
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
· 5–7 years of HR and/or management experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
· SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
· Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment regulations.
· Articulate, professional, and approachable communication style.
· Self-motivated, accountable, and highly organized.
· Demonstrated discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
· Resourceful problem-solver with a focus on achieving results.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
