Overview

Plantique is expanding their hardscaping division and is in need of qualified applicants to fill several positions. If you enjoy working with your hands and creating custom outdoor spaces using materials like stone, pavers, and bricks then you need to contact us!

Our Hardscape division creates patio spaces, terraces, walkways, driveways, and other hard surface areas for our customers using all types of concrete pavers, stone, bricks, and other similar materials. We also construct retaining and seating walls, pillars, and other outdoor structures using the same materials.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the position will include proper excavation of the area, establishment of finish grades for the new surfaces using transits and other leveling equipment, establishment of the correct pitch and proper drainage of water from the new surfaces, installation of the correct base layers, installation of the finished surface, and grading and repair of the surrounding areas. Many of these projects also include various levels of landscape plantings, which are typically completed by the same crew.

Requirements

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• Valid PA Driver's license with clean driving record
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of hardscape experience
• Ability to demonstrate the safe and correct use of all saws and other power equipment commonly used in hardscaping
• A willingness to work with and learn from current Hardscape team members
• ICPI, NCMA, SRW Certifications are a plus, but not required
