Hardscape / Landscape Crew Member
Craig’s Lawncare & Hardscaping – Lehigh Valley, PA
Recurring Seasonal Work | April 1–November 15 | Full-Time in Peak Season with possibility of overtime. Winter hours are not guaranteed.
We are looking for PUNCTUAL, RELIABLE crew members who possess the skills necessary to complete high value Landscape, Hardscape, and Pool projects.
The right candidate will complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. High quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction will be top priorities. Candidates will be able to work toward daily jobsite goals with others on the team. PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS and ability to MEASURE ACCURATELY are a must. Employees will be directly working on high end residential projects daily and must maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
We are looking for motivated candidates who take initiative on the jobsite.
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
- Must be over 18 years old
- Must have valid U.S. Drivers license
- Must Speak English Fluently
- Provide 2 references of recent past employment with your resume
- Background check may be conducted
General Info:
- Pay based on experience: $17-$24/hour to start
- Direct deposit weekly
Candidates Expected Responsibilities:
- Loading trucks and trailers daily with tools, materials, and equipment
- Safely loading and strapping equipment to DOT standards
- Setting up and breaking down jobsites
- Safely running hand tools, power tools, and equipment (Mini-Ex, subcompact tractor, etc.)
- Lifting and moving materials up to 80 lbs regularly
- Keeping jobsites clean, safe, and professional
- Taking initiative to hit daily jobsite goals and overall project goals
- Facilitate positive and meaningful customer interactions at all times
- Help maintain tools and equipment
We Also Expect the Right Candidate to:
- Show up on time or early every day
- Be willing to learn and take instruction
- Handle heat, cold, dirt, and long days during peak season without complaining
- No smoking, vaping, drugs, alcohol, on jobsites. No Exceptions.
- Show up sober. There are no second chances
- Reliable transportation is required
- Clean driving record required as Candidates will be driving company vehicles. Anyone with a DUI within last 10 years will not be considered
This position is for a candidate who wants steady seasonal work, and an atmosphere which promotes growth and skill development. It is ideal for someone who would like to learn the labor side before moving into a leadership role.
