What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real-time C++ Embedded Software Engineer position at PlanIT Group, LLC?

Looking for real-time C 2025 embedded software engineer with at least 6 years of experience related to Linux/Real-time operating system running on multi-core processors to development embedded real-time missile Operational Flight Program (OFP).

Required Qualifications: (Recent experience within last 6 years):

  • 6 years of C 2025 embedded real-time object-oriented development experience using Linux on multi-core processors
  • 3 years of experience related to inertial navigation, guidance, autopilot, launch sequence and control, gimbal LOS control, or IR seeker image processing
  • 3 years of 1553 interface experience
  • 3 years of experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) using Git-lab and Bit-bucket.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with Free RTOS, Yocto, or Linux (CentOS7)
  • Working knowledge of C design patterns for embedded software development
  • Hands-on software/firmware/Hardware integration experience
  • Understanding of full software development lifecycle process including requirements analysis, design, code, integration, test and verification .
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and tools (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing)
