Construction Systems Owner – Piping

Desired Start Date: Late-May/Early-June 2026

Anticipated Length of Contract: 12 months

Work Location: Lebanon, IN (fully onsite)

Pay Rate: W2: $90–$120/hr | 1099/C2C: $100–$140/hr

Overview

Field?based owner’s representative role overseeing process and utility piping systems on a large GMP pharmaceutical construction project. Responsible for ensuring piping installations are aligned with IFC drawings, specs, and GMP requirements, and are ready for Mechanical Completion and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the piping discipline technical authority in the field
• Verify piping installations align with IFC drawings, specs, and validated submittals
• Identify and escalate constructability issues, routing conflicts, and interface risks
• Coordinate piping interfaces with equipment, HVAC, CSA, electrical, and instrumentation
• Support piping tie?ins, sequencing, and system integration across trades
• Support Mechanical Completion, walkdowns, punch list resolution, and turnover readiness
• Oversee flushing and passivation activities where required
  
  

Background Needed

• 5-10 years supporting process and utility piping on large GMP/pharma projects
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME BPE, and high?purity piping systems
• Experience with equipment tie?ins, orbital welding coordination, and hygienic systems
• Familiarity with Mechanical Completion, commissioning prep, and GMP documentation
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering preferred
