Job Title : Construction System Owner – Piping
Initial 12-month W2 contract with extension dependent on performance

We are supporting a major capital project and are seeking an experienced Construction System Owner focused on process and utility piping systems.
This is a field-based role overseeing piping installation during construction, ensuring works meet design intent, quality requirements, and GMP standards while supporting mechanical completion and system handover.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify piping installations align with IFC drawings, specifications, and approved submittals
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, ASME BPE, GMP requirements, and project standards
• Identify and escalate installation issues, deviations, and constructability risks
• Support mechanical completion walkdowns, inspections, and turnover activities
• Review contractor documentation including RFIs, spool drawings, tie-ins, and test packs
• Monitor installation progress and support schedule adherence
• Coordinate cross-discipline interfaces (mechanical, HVAC, CSA, E&I, vendor packages)
• Support integration of piping systems with equipment, utilities, and instrumentation
• Verify high purity and hygienic piping systems meet GMP requirements
• Support flushing, passivation, and system readiness activities where required
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline)
• 10 years’ piping and mechanical construction experience on large GMP or pharmaceutical projects
• Strong knowledge of process and utility piping systems, including high purity and hygienic installations
• Experience with ASME B31.3, ASME BPE, and GMP environments
• Strong understanding of mechanical completion, commissioning, and turnover processes
• Field-based construction experience coordinating multiple disciplines
• Comfortable working fully on site and driving installation execution and problem resolution
