Laboratory Manager needed!
Position Overview:
A leading company in the life sciences industry is seeking an experienced and highly organized Lab Manager to oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on experience with laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day laboratory operations, including workflow management, scheduling, and coordination of lab personnel.
- Oversee and train lab staff in proper use of general laboratory equipment and liquid handling systems.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, ensuring all reagents, consumables, and equipment are stocked and properly managed.
- Implement and monitor compliance with ISO, GMP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, research, or quality initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate laboratory processes to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Prepare reports on laboratory performance, staff productivity, and operational metrics.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years’ experience supervising laboratory operations, particularly with liquid handling or related workflows.
- Minimum of 2 years’ prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or lab environment.
- Experience with ISO and GMP standards preferred.
- Proficiency in using general laboratory equipment and tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
