LPN Job Details – Union, SC
- Location: Union, South Carolina 29379
- Assignment Length: 19 weeks (through January 13, 2026)
- Start Date: August 26, 2025
- Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1230–$1270 per week
- Healthcare Setting: Long Term Care Facility
- Patient Ratios: 1:22–44
- Guaranteed Hours: Based on signed contract
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Parking: Free on-site
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Carolina (pending license accepted if obtained before start date)
- Minimum 1 year of recent long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Comfortable managing high patient ratios (up to 1:44)
- Availability to work weekends as needed
- Ability to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test during orientation
- All requested time off must be submitted with initial application
- Must comply with attendance policy (no more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation)
- Recent EPIC charting experience preferred, but not required
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric residents in a long term care or skilled nursing facility
- Efficiently manage a high patient load while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, promptly reporting any changes
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ambulation, and feeding tube care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
- Support patients with chronic conditions such as dementia, heart disease, renal failure, and post-surgical recovery
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control, and safety protocols
