- conduct chemical analyses of body fluids such as blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
- Analyze blood cells using microscopy techniques.
- Ensure proper operation of laboratory equipment through calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and evaluating new technologies.
- BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology
- MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP certification or eligibility to take the exam within the first year.
