Mammography Technician

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and screening breast imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing breast diseases. They explain procedures to patients, position them correctly, maintain imaging equipment, and ensure high-quality images while adhering to safety standards. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams is essential to deliver compassionate patient care.

Qualifications Include

• One year of mammography experience
• Current state license
• BLS certification
  
  

Skills Required

Preferred qualifications include ARRT certification.

• Critical thinking and excellent communication
• Ability to follow instructions and operate PC systems
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain concentration
