Mammography Technologist
Decatur, GA 30030
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiographic Technology program (certificate or degree) preferred
- ARRT (R)(M) registration required
- BLS certification required upon hire
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients; select accurate anatomic and technical parameters
- Explain procedures and educate patients on the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health
- Evaluate images for technical quality — density, contrast, definition, and distortion
- Assist the radiologist with procedures as needed
- Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients; clean and sterilize equipment
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines

- Must reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Decatur, GA 30030 before starting
- BLS Certification (required)
