Role Overview

Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to supervise 24-hour nursing operations, maintaining quality care and compliance. Assumes clinical responsibilities in the director's absence, conducting assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act.

Assumes clinical responsibilities in the director's absence, conducting assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive resident care plans adhering to medical and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate policies to staff, monitor practice implementation, and ensure quality care.
- Participate in admission decisions and visit prospective residents as needed.
- Engage in management meetings to discuss resident status, staffing, and concerns.
- Ensure compassionate care, adequate staffing, cleanliness, and resident well-being.
- Perform other duties as assigned or changed.
- Licensed RN or LPN in the practicing state.
- Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience; 5 years in long-term or acute care preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
