Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician (Full-Time)

We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Technologist to join our Invasive Cardiology team, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, TEE/CV, IABP support, and PCI.

• Assist physicians with sterile techniques, equipment setup, patient positioning, medication and contrast administration, and documentation.
• Operate and maintain specialized cardiac cath lab equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and adhere to safety standards, including radiation protection and controlled substance management.
• Recognize emergencies, initiate code procedures, and perform CPR or first aid as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement, product evaluation, and on-call rotations.
  
  

Qualifications: Effective communication, ability to work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality. Certifications include Cardiovascular Technician (CVT), with preferred RT (R) or RCIS credentials and licensure for fluoroscopy. Additional certifications: ARRT-CV, BLS, ACLS, ARRT-RT, NIH Stroke. An associate degree is preferred.
