Description
A Kitchen Team Member plays a key role in providing a high quality experience for guests of Pla-Mor Lanes. We have a full menu, including sandwiches, appetizers, and pizzas, and line cooks work in an open kitchen while preparing food. Compensation for this position ranges from $13-15 per hour plus tips.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food orders according to provided recipes
- Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by paying attention to the guest and responding to needs in a timely and kind manner
- Consistently maintain a clean and organized environment by keeping the kitchen, counter, and work areas clean and sanitized before, during, and after each shift
- Keep a well-stocked kitchen with an adequate supply for each shift
- Possess a desire to practice and develop skills of cooking using a range of ingredients
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position has
- Training or experience with short order cooking
- Multitask while cooking to make multiple orders at once and maintain low ticket times
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and food preparation
- Ability to to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work extended hours on feet for up to 8 hours
- Effective communication skills to build rapport with guests and fellow employees
- Positive attitude and personal demeanor
- Attention to detail, particularly to guests’ needs and maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour PLUS Tips
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
