We are searching for an experienced leader charged with managing our Charlotte, NC Design Center showroom. This role will own the financial performance of the showroom and exceed revenue goals for sales and profitability. Additionally, the manager will lead, coach, and develop a high performing sales team while working to foster, cultivate, and manage relationships within the trade design community.
The right candidate will be proactive and organized in their leadership; high-energy, versatile, and a strong communicator with the ability to strategically lead our Charlotte design center showroom, while gaining brand loyalty and recognition in the market.

Key Responsibilities
Showroom Management
- Oversee all showroom operations, ensuring processes, service, and presentation uphold our luxury brand standards.
- Develop a culture of accountability and empowerment while leading strategic initiatives to grow market share and strengthen brand presence.
- Drive operational excellence through SAP utilization, pipeline management, social media engagement, and technology integration.
- Manage budgets, P&L, and client escalations while hosting industry events and creating a luxury client experience.
Account Management
- Strategically manage showroom accounts using SAP HANA and performance metrics to drive growth and retention.
- Build and strengthen relationships with designers, architects, and clients through in-person and virtual engagement, events, and presentations.
- Collaborate with sales consultants to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within assigned geography.
- Guide account activity and marketing alignment through regular CRM reviews and one-on-one coaching sessions.
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop sales consultants through structured 30/60/90-day plans and continuous performance feedback.
- Train and empower the team in luxury selling, marketing strategies, and product expertise to uphold brand excellence.
- Foster accountability for project management, client service, and follow-through, ensuring exceptional client experiences.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, reinforcing our reputation across all client and industry interactions.
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5 years inside/outside sales experience in a showroom, retail, or design firm
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales management role within high end luxury brand environment
- Fearless and innovative approach to selling with a client-centric mentality
- Ability to take charge, drive for results and make sound decisions quickly
- Ability to negotiate and close deals
- Digitally savvy – willing and able to connect with clients both virtually and in person
- Proven team builder with the ability to coach and develop a sales team
- Self-motivated leader with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Well-connected within the luxury design trade around the showroom

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
