We are a leader in two-way communication and in-car camera, body and fixed video solutions, serving public safety, education and hospitals sectors in the state. As an Account Executive for an assigned region of the state, you will focus on building relationships with prospective and current clients, identify their wireless communication needs, and provide tailored solutions to their communication and/or video challenges. This individual will need to be driven by the entire sales funnel, including lead generation, discovery, demos, and contract negotiations.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and community outreach
- Build strong relationships with clients and prospects
- Educate clients on technological options including radio, video, and software associated with the product
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed goals
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and follow up on leads frequently
- Build out quotes in our operating system, QuickBooks, and our vendor provided software
- Collaborate with the internal team (programmer, project coordinator, lead technicians) to ensure the customer is getting exactly what they need quoted accordingly, as well as relay information about special requests from the customer to the team
- Conduct 4-6 in-person visits per week
Requirements
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Prior emergency responder experience is a plus but not required
- Proven track record of exceeding annual sales targets
- Superior communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Able to work efficiently, is accountable, has excellent time management skills and is adaptable to industry changes
- Willing to learn the industry and retain the knowledge of the product/service being sold
- Travel up to 60-75% (both daily and overnight trips)
- Delivers on commitments with a sense of urgency
