We are looking for individuals who have a passion for Wigle products, creating craft cocktails, and providing a legendary guest experience to join our Front-of-House team at Wigle Whiskey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Receives orders from patrons and wait staff.
- Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
- Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
- Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
- Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
- Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
- Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
- Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
- Stocks refrigerating units with mixers, garnishes, and bottled beer.
- Stocks liquor and taps kegs.
- Removes empty bottles and trash.
- Takes food orders and delivers to guests.
- Assists with menu creation, including classic and seasonal cocktails and mocktails.
- Assists bartenders with washing glassware and cutting and preparing condiments and garnishes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess working knowledge of liquors, beers, and wines.
- Display strong guest service skills at all times.
- Obtain certification for the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) on the first day of hire.
- Must be able to accurately and efficiently calculate basic mathematical solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of back-of-the-house, ordering, and inventory systems.
- Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, weekends and holidays.
