Responsibilities
Assist with making funeral arrangements with families
Coordinate and direct funeral and memorial services
Perform removals and transfers
Assist with embalming and preparation
Complete required NYS residency documentation and reports
Maintain professionalism and compassion in all family interactions
Participate in on-call rotation as needed
May include cleaning cars, rudimentary tasks
Maintain a positive, professional attire
Qualifications
Current NYS Funeral Director Resident or ready to register as licensed resident.
Graduate of an accredited Mortuary Science program
Valid NYS driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor required; business attire or business casual expected.
Ability to lift 75 lbs and work evenings/weekends/ and participate in on-call rotationBenefits Offered401(k)
