Responsibilities
- Assist with making funeral arrangements with families
- Coordinate and direct funeral and memorial services
- Perform removals and transfers
- Assist with embalming and preparation
- Complete required NYS residency documentation and reports
- Maintain professionalism and compassion in all family interactions
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
- May include cleaning cars, rudimentary tasks

Qualifications
- Current NYS Funeral Director Resident or ready to register as licensed resident.
- Graduate of an accredited Mortuary Science program
- Valid NYS driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor required; business attire or business casual expected.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work evenings/weekends/ and participate in on-call rotation
Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,200.00 per year
