Job Overview
The role of Blast Puller is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by unloading trucks, scanning and tracking incoming loads, and safely placing and removing pallets from blast racks and storage rooms. The role includes cycle counting warehouse storage, de-dividing pallets, changing PIT batteries, and performing elevated work in accordance with fall protection policies. All duties are performed while maintaining strict food safety standards and a safe work environment.
While performing the duties of Blast Puller, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced cold environment (<32°F to -35°F). Position requires standing throughout the shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.
Duties
- Operate PIT – stand-up forklift, single and double jacks, sit-down jacks
- Lifting and handling of product and boxes
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
- Other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Previous warehousing experience (preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours (come in early or stay late, including weekends when needed)
- Must be able to obtain Forklift Driver’s certification
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
Pay: From $24.75 per hour
