Load Puller

Job Overview
The Load Puller role supports dock and warehouse operations by accurately and efficiently pulling and loading orders, rotating between receiving and shipping as needed, and assisting the crew once loads are prepared. Responsibilities also include maintaining dock and freezer housekeeping, communicating closely with the coordinator to minimize load discrepancies, and being accountable for shortages and overages. A strong focus on food safety, quality standards, workplace safety, dependable attendance, teamwork, and a positive work attitude is essential.

While performing the duties of Load Puller, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced cold environment (<32°F to -35°F). Position requires standing throughout the shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.

Duties

• Accountable for inventory shortages and overages
• Assist the crew with loading once orders have been pulled
• Flexibility to work in both Receiving and Shipping as needed
• Maintain housekeeping standards on the dock and in freezer areas
• Rotate assignments on the loading dock with other crew members
• Pull all types of loads accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with the coordinator to minimize load discrepancies
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work performance, and excellent attendance

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills required
• Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Dependable and reliable attendance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early start times, late shifts, and weekends as needed
• Ability to obtain Forklift Driver Certification
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Pay: From $23.45 per hour
