Project Analyst – PMO & Project Controls | Atlanta, GA
A rapidly growing advanced recycling company is seeking a Project Analyst to support the build-out of its Project Management Office (PMO) and drive execution excellence across major capital projects. This role is deeply engrained in the project side of the business — bridging engineering, procurement, and construction teams through structured coordination, schedule integration, and cost visibility, and enabling leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions on a flagship capital project.
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain integrated master project schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction scopes, identifying critical path impacts and flagging risks early
- Align engineering deliverables with procurement timelines and construction execution plans, tracking milestones across all project phases
- Support cost tracking, forecasting, accruals, and budget/change management, partnering with finance and project managers on accurate reporting
- Build PMO standards, templates, dashboards, and reporting structures — implementing project controls and governance best practices that will scale to future projects
What we're looking for:
- 2–5 years of experience in project controls, project management, or EPC environments — a true analyst profile, strong in modeling and analytics
- Strong project scheduling skills (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar), including waterfall/GANTT management, resource loading, cost loading, and critical path analysis
- Experience with cost tracking and financial reporting on capital projects
- Familiarity with engineering, equipment procurement, and construction contracts
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field — an engineering degree paired with a master's in business or finance is a standout profile
- Preferred: experience supporting large-scale industrial, oil & gas, chemical, or infrastructure projects; exposure to EPC lifecycles and PMO development
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
