Piper Maddox is partnered with a top tier organization within the sustainable materials and advanced recycling sector seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support the development of construction and engineering packages for facility expansions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with specification and procurement of instrumentation for process control, process indication, and control system infrastructure.
- Prepare technical specifications, design-bid documentation, and detailed construction cost estimates.
- Design discrete, analog, and network control systems.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, maintenance procedures, inspection plans, and instrumentation standards.
- Assist in all phases of continuous process manufacturing including documentation, detailed design generation, implementation, system integration, testing, and on-site startup.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience developing PLC programs (Rockwell, Siemens, and other major platforms).
- Strong understanding of industrial power distribution systems up to 480 VAC, with exposure to medium/high voltage systems (4160 VAC or higher).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs.
- Demonstrated experience in process engineering, machinery, and mechanical systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Background in oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing environments preferred.
Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
