Key Responsibilities
- Support environmental, health, and safety compliance programs across multiple projects and facilities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate and maintain permits, licenses, regulatory filings, compliance documentation, and required EHS records.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, procedures, work instructions, and training programs.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews, identifying risks and supporting corrective actions.
- Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and regulatory reporting as required.
- Monitor regulatory changes and support the implementation of new compliance requirements across the organization.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and project teams to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
- Support interactions with regulatory agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders, and assist in preparing reports, metrics, and presentations related to EHS performance.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in a regulated industrial environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting permitting, compliance documentation, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS documentation systems.
- Experience within nuclear, energy, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable.
