Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer II include:
- Administer and support Active Directory, including forests, domain trees, GPOs, and replication troubleshooting
- Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, and performance tuning
- Support hybrid cloud environments (Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online) and enforce secure configurations
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to permissions, authentication, and connectivity across systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally to escalate issues, improve infrastructure, and document technical solutions
- 2 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support roles
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including ACLs, LDAP, and permission inheritance
- Proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and tools like gpresult, rsop.msc, and Event Viewer
- Experience with SQL Server, including query troubleshooting and performance diagnostics
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and enterprise storage systems (NetApp, EMC, Isilon)
- Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000/year
