The Director of Developer Experience (DevEx) will lead enterprise modernization initiatives focused on improving engineering productivity, accelerating software delivery velocity, strengthening governance, and optimizing technology spend. - Lead the enterprise Developer Experience strategy, driving modernization initiatives that improve engineering productivity and software delivery performance.
- Establish and track KPIs such as deployment frequency, lead time for changes, developer satisfaction, platform adoption, and operational efficiency.
- Build and scale internal developer platforms, self-service capabilities, CI/CD standards, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, security, and finance leaders to strengthen governance, compliance, and cost management initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement programs that reduce technical debt, streamline developer workflows, and accelerate product delivery.
- 10 years of technology leadership experience with a strong focus on Developer Experience, platform engineering, cloud transformation, or application modernization.
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable improvements in engineering productivity, deployment velocity, platform adoption, and operational efficiency.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and developer tooling ecosystems.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks, engineering standards, and cost optimization programs across large technology organizations.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Salary range: $150,000 – $200,000 depending on experience
