Mobile Software Engineer in Test

Piper Companies is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer in Test to join a leading healthcare technology organization based in Morrisville, NC. This role is ideal for a mobile QA professional with strong experience in automation frameworks, Agile practices, and mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms. This is a Contract position requiring on-site work 3 days per week in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute both automated and manual test cases for mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand mobile workflows and user scenarios.
• Build scalable and maintainable test automation solutions using frameworks like Appium.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work closely with developers to ensure timely fixes and continuous quality improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and help evolve QA best practices for mobile development.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience testing mobile applications across iOS and Android, with a strong grasp of mobile UI/UX standards.
• Hands-on experience with Appium and scripting in Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and Git for integrating automated tests into development workflows.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for collaborating with developers, product managers, and users to define test scenarios and ensure product quality.
  
  

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $114,000–$128,000
