Finance Business Parter

Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support commercial financial performance within a manufacturing environment. This role is hybrid, requiring 2 days onsite per week in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in owning P&Ls, CAPEX planning, and working capital optimization while improving financial processes and insights across the business.

Responsibilities for the Finance Business Partner:

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with full ownership of FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital performance
• Build and maintain advanced financial models (Excel, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics) to support forecasting, ROI analysis, and strategic decision-making
• Partner directly with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and other business units to evaluate pricing, volume, mix, and cost drivers impacting revenue and margins
• Analyze financial performance, explain variances against forecasts and prior periods, and provide actionable recommendations to improve results
• Develop standardized reporting packages and KPIs while driving automation and improvements through tools like PowerBI and Power Query; this is the right job for someone who wants to directly influence commercial strategy and own financial performance in a manufacturing environment
  
  

Qualifications for the Finance Business Partner include:

• 8 years of finance experience, including prior experience as a Finance Business Partner
• Experience working with FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital
• Experience with SAP and/or BPC systems
• Experience within a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel expertise and experience in financial modeling
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  
  

Compensation for the Finance Business Partner includes:

• Salary: $150,000-$170,000 annually, based on experience
