Analytical Research Associate

Piper Companies is looking for an Analytical Research Associate to join a biotechnology company located in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Responsibilities of the Analytical Research Associate include:

• Execute research and development activities under direct supervision
• Perform validation activities in support of QC under direct supervision
• Conduct analytical method experiments and collect data
• Prepare preliminary reports and maintain R&D and validation documentation
• Assist with laboratory and equipment maintenance activities
• Draft and revise R&D and GMP documentation, including SOPs, forms, and reports
  
  

Qualifications for the Analytical Research Associate include:

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or equivalent related experience
• Experience in a research or clinical laboratory environment
• Experience with assay development/troubleshooting, bioassays, cell culture, ELISA, PCR, and analytical methods preferred
• Knowledge of SOPs and strong technical writing skills
• Strong data analysis, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  
  

Compensation for the Analytical Research Associate includes:

• Rate Range: $28 - 34/hr, depending on experience
• Comprehensive Benefit Package: Cigna Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as Required by Law
