Electronics Technician

Job Description:

Piper Companies is currently seeking a skilled Top Secret Electronics Technician to join a cyber-physical solutions team in Chantilly, VA. Only candidates with active TS/SCI minimum will be considered.

Responsibilities/Desired Skills for Electronics Technician include:

Technical Skills:

• Enforces safety protocols and company policies, conducts daily safety meetings, and manages incident reporting.
• Reviews design documentation for constructability and participates in quality control inspections and compliance.
• Oversees installation, testing, and maintenance of systems including raceways, cabling, field devices, and network equipment.
• Manages project metrics, resource planning, timesheet verification, and tool/material inventory. Leads commissioning efforts, supports PITCO plan execution, and represents the company in meetings with stakeholders.
• Provides mentorship, promotes collaboration, and communicates effectively with project teams and clients.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills aligned with company values and strategic goals.
  
  

Qualifications for Electronics Technician include:

• Experience: 6 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs OR 3 years of electronics installation graduation from an electronics technical program.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI w/ Polygraph eligibility required.
• Proficient knowledge with: LENEL, CCTV, ACS, IDS, AMAG, G.SIM, GCORE, GEUTEBRUCK, BOSCH VMS, Honeywell Vinidcator
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Special preference with candidates with the following:
• Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems.
  

Compensation for the Electronics Technician includes:

• Salary Range: $90,000- $120,000 **depending on experience*
