What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiver/Driver position at Pioneer Heavy Duty Parts, Inc?
Pioneer Heavy Duty Parts, a distributor of parts for heavy duty trucks and trailers, is growing.
We’re looking for an additional full-time receiver/driver for receiving part of the day and delivering the other part.
This is an opportunity for a detail-oriented, service-oriented, organized person and requires working independently as well as with others.
General Duties:
- Must be on time
- Unload products using forklifts and pallet jack
- Label and put stock away
- Monitor shelves and fill when needed
- Count and verify product received and compare to packing list
- Inspect freight for possible damage/missing items and notate on delivery forms
- Ensure warehouse is neat, organized, clean, and safe by conducting operations in a proper manner
- Pick orders and load truck for delivery
- Keep vehicles fueled and cleaned. Aid in maintaining vehicles by reporting problems.
- Make deliveries in a timely manner (RI & SE MA areas)
- Maintain positive attitude with vendors and customers
- Maintain good communication with all associates
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- While experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right person
- Basic language, mathematical and computer skills
- Medium level of physical exertion, including lifting 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
- Able to operate pick up truck. Preferable if able to drive 16ft box truck (Health card needed)
