About The Role
Our client is seeking a Safety Specialist (EHS Specialist) to support field operations and surface facilities by ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and reinforcing a strong, proactive safety culture.

You will partner directly with supervisors, crews, and leadership to drive safety initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory and company standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support day-to-day EHS activities across field operations and surface facilities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry-specific safety regulations
- Conduct field audits, safety inspections, and job hazard analyses (JHAs)
- Partner with operations teams to identify risks and implement practical safety solutions
- Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Deliver and support safety training programs for employees and contractors
- Track safety metrics and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Reinforce a strong safety culture through consistent field presence and engagement
- Support contractor safety compliance and onboarding processes
- Assist with emergency response planning and readiness
- 2–5 years of EHS experience within oil & gas, energy, construction, or heavy industrial environments
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations
- Experience supporting field operations, surface facilities, or construction environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence field personnel
- Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong attention to detail
- Experience with incident investigations and safety reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred (not required)
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, ASP, or CHST are a plus
