Dispatcher

Overview

A well-established logistics and transportation operation is seeking a Dispatcher to join its team. This position will work alongside an experienced dispatcher, providing support with daily scheduling, communication, and coordination of drivers, equipment, and customer needs. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and dispatching drivers and equipment
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and service needs
• Monitor daily operations and address scheduling changes as they arise
• Coordinate with customers, drivers, and internal team members to ensure timely service
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and operational documentation
• Enter and update information within company software systems
• Provide administrative and operational support to the dispatch team
• Assist with problem-solving and issue resolution throughout the day
• Support branch operations as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• Entry-level candidates with strong organizational and communication skills are encouraged to apply
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits
