- Full time. 40 hours a week. 8am-4:30pm. M-F with every other weekend rotation
Job Summary

Job Duties
- Supervise the daily work performed by housekeeping personnel with-in the assigned work area. Assign tasks to housekeepers according to standard schedules or by priority and assure timely and accurate completion of the work. Maintains and documents daily work assignments.
- Conducts regular and routine inspections of the assigned work area to ensure a clean and sanitary environment, quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain daily records of all inspections that include team member assignments and problem resolutions. Report building and equipment repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor. Reports to Housekeeping and Laundry Director or their designee all deficiencies beyond the control or capabilities of their assigned team members and assist in planning remedies.
- Understand all policies and procedures and communicate them to assigned team members. Assist the Housekeeping and Laundry Manager in the establishment of policies, procedures, quality standards, and departmental goals.
- Supervise the use of equipment and supplies to assure efficient and effective use. Train team members on the use of chemicals and equipment. Understand and communicate to team members necessary safety precautions and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Perform other related duties as required to ensure the well- being and satisfaction of the Resident Family.
- Fundamental knowledge of commercial/institutional housekeeping duties.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of housekeeping methods and practices used in institutional, hospitality, or commercial environments.
- Knowledge of the use and safety requirements of chemicals used in facility cleaning.
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 30lbs., push 50lbs., and stand most of the day.
