Chief Engineer

We’re seeking a Chief Engineer to lead all maintenance and engineering operations at one of our newly renovated hotels. This role is critical to delivering a safe, seamless, and exceptional experience for both guests and team members. From behind-the-scenes systems to visible guest spaces, you’ll be the expert ensuring everything works as it should—every day.

What You’ll Do

• • Lead and oversee all hotel maintenance and engineering operations

  • Ensure the reliable operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and building systems

  • Conduct routine inspections and implement preventative maintenance programs

  • Respond promptly and effectively to work orders and emergency situations

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute repairs and capital improvement projects

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory requirements

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team with clear expectations and accountability

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and equipment maintenance

What We’re Looking For

• • Proven experience in maintenance or facilities leadership, preferably in hospitality or commercial properties

  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and life safety equipment

  • A problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, guest-focused environments

  • Ability to manage projects independently and lead a team with confidence

  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and compliance

  • Flexibility to be on-call for emergencies when needed
