Client:

Our client is a global private equity investment firm focused primarily on Private Equity Secondaries (GP led transactions and LP interests) along with Private Equity Co-Investments and Primary Fund Investments. They are currently seeking an Analyst or Associate for their New York City office. Our clients manage north of $6b and has successfully closed 5 funds to date. This position is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing firm with a history of success.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting in-depth research and analysis on potential investments
• Working on small deal teams to complete due diligence efforts, including significant interaction with private equity fund managers and company management teams
• Deal structuring, valuations, financial modelling, deal execution
• Preparation of advanced models in Excel
• Drafting detailed investment memoranda and presentations
• Assisting in the management and monitoring of portfolio companies
• Maintaining firm deal pipeline databases and ensuring that all relevant data is accurate
• Coordinating complex, time sensitive processes

Qualifications:

• One to four years of relevant experience (investment banking, private equity, and/or secondaries firm)
• Degree in economics, finance or mathematics is preferred
• Top-tier undergraduate school, with strong academic performance
• Expert modelling skills commensurate with sophisticated financial investing
• Demonstrated understanding of investment processes and economics
