Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents and patients, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations
- Order and receive food and supplies, managing inventory and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and prepare special diets and meals for residents with specific needs
- Develop and maintain a positive and respectful working relationship with residents, patients, and colleagues
Cook Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a culinary setting, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality environment
- Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed
