Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Clean floors using appropriate methods for carpeted or hard surfaces, including floor care techniques
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while adhering to safety standards
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper technique
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and fixtures throughout the home, including kitchens and bathrooms
• Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistency and quality of service
• Assist with outdoor work as needed, such as patio or porch cleaning

Skills

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with knowledge of janitorial practices
• Strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures across various surfaces and materials
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks promptly without sacrificing quality
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care products, and carpet cleaning techniques
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
• Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with housekeeper management practices to ensure consistent service delivery

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
