Position Overview
Pinnacle Abstract is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Real Estate Title Processor to join our team in our Taylor, PA office. This role is responsible for managing real estate transaction files from opening through post-closing and supporting the closing process to ensure transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
This position works under the supervision of our Closing Manager and collaborates with our administrative team to support the preparation and completion of real estate transactions.
No prior title or settlement experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is organized, dependable, and eager to learn the real estate closing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and set up new real estate title files
- Order and track title searches, tax certifications, payoffs, and other required documentation
- Communicate with lenders, realtors, attorneys, and clients to obtain necessary information and documentation
- Maintain and organize transaction files throughout the closing process
- Assist in preparing files and documentation for upcoming closings
- Ensure required documents and conditions are received prior to settlement
- Coordinate with the Closing Manager regarding file status and closing readiness
- Handle post-closing activities including recording documents, completing files, and issuing title policies
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of transactions
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor when working with clients and industry partners
- Proficiency with standard office software or willingness to learn new systems
- Prior experience in administrative, real estate, mortgage, banking, or legal environments is helpful but not required
