Job Summary
As a BDC Sales Agent, you'll be responsible for managing inbound and outbound communications with potential car buyers, setting appointments for the sales team, and helping convert leads into customers. This role requires a motivated, organized, and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to internet, phone, and live chat inquiries from prospective customers.
- Make outbound calls, follow-up emails, and texts to convert leads into appointments.
- Set and confirm appointments for the sales team, ensuring a smooth handoff.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in CRM software.
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly appointment and contact goals.
- Work closely with the sales team and management to develop and execute lead strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service that reflects the dealership’s standards.
- Stay current on vehicle inventory, promotions, and dealership updates.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a BDC, call center, or customer service/sales role preferred.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills — both verbal and written.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools and internet lead management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
