Your expertise in handling triaxle dump truck will ensure timely and safe deliveries. Duties
- Safely operate Class B commercial dump trucks adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure on-time deliveries across local sites.
- Deliver freight accurately to designated locations while maintaining professional customer service during interactions with clients and operators.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, inspection reports, and delivery records.
Requirements
- Valid Class B or A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving experience
- Familiarity with triaxle dump trucks
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks and manual handling equipment safely
- Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries
- Experience with truck loading/unloading procedures
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, and safety standards for trucking operations
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Must be able to work at a school and in proximity of children.
- Must pass a drug test
