Library Manager of the Sam Lena-South Tucson Branch. We are seeking a
dynamic leader who is passionate about serving the diverse and
close-knit community of South Tucson, including patrons who may be
unhoused or experiencing food insecurity. In this role, you will lead a
team through supportive, fair, and flexible supervision while working to
ensure a safe and welcoming space for all, balancing day-to-day
operations, community engagement, and the thoughtful use of resources.
You will help translate county policies and strategic goals into
meaningful public service, while coaching staff, resolving challenges
with empathy, and fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and
learning. Spanish language skills are desirable and will support strong
connections with the patrons of South Tucson. This is an exciting
opportunity to make a direct impact in a community-centered library.
