Essential Job Duties
- Oversees and coordinates engineering analysis and activities for facilities and infrastructure.
- Proactively find innovative solutions to optimize systems and project scopes.
- Collaborates with engineering team, including planning, and D&C to ensure scope, budgets and risk factors are well planned for execution.
- Manages necessary AFEs for focused areas.
- Participates in and may lead knowledge and/or technical development opportunities for staff
- Leads and adhered to regulatory and compliance requirements for existing and future projects, including permitting and safety regulations.
- Maintains knowledge of industry activities. changes, and trends and ensures the leadership team is kept informed of such developments and the potential impact on the business
- Adheres and leads by example on Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations.
- Participates, reviews and approves assigned procurement process inclusive of PO and invoices for accuracy on a timely manner.
- Supervises / mentors engineering staff and engages in chance management initiatives.
- Participates in performance management, hiring, development and disciplinary processes
- Participates in other assigned duties and projects based on business needs
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Petroleum, Mechanical or comparable
- 15 years of oil and gas experience in upstream or midstream sectors
- Hydraulic modeling – any software, strong excel skills.
- Strong knowledge about oilfield water pipelines and SWD facilities.
- Experience in production/facilities engineering.
- Knowledge of navigating SCADA system and different data platforms.
- Experience in leading and managing field operations at a midstream company or responsibility in leading regional operations for a larger oil and gas company
- Demonstrated ability to influence and manage large field-focused and office-based teams
- Familiarity with the operational requirements of a wide variety of oilfield specific equipment
- Proven, key contribution in a rapid growth company environment
- Excellent, proactive, and eloquent communication skills in combination with a personal demeanor, and collegial approach to business matters
- Professional, tactful, and discrete when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong critical and analytic skills
- Strong organization, planning and time-management skills for multiple priorities
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel and Power Point
- Must have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance provider
- Able to travel as needed
- Water midstream experience
- Supervisory experience with broad business scope
- Knowledge of type curves and reservoir engineering.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
