Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Facilities Manager to support operations across two facilities
- Assist with general building maintenance and repairs
- Perform entry-level plumbing, electrical, construction, and handyman-related tasks that can be handled internally
- Support preventative maintenance and facility upkeep projects
- Identify maintenance issues and communicate when outside vendors or contractors may be required
- Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and facility setup projects
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Respond to facility-related requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal coordination, landscaping oversight, and general exterior upkeep
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction
- Positive attitude with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge or interest in plumbing, electrical, construction, or general maintenance preferred
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials or equipment as needed
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
- Previous facilities, maintenance, construction, or trade school experience is a plus but not required
