What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse & Picking/Kitting Associate position at PICA Manufacturing Solutions?
Position Overview:
The Warehouse and picking Associate is responsible for various warehouse activities, including but not limited to stocking, order picking, kitting, counting, and receiving products.
Responsibilities:
Receiving Operations:
- Unload deliveries from suppliers at the receiving dock and verify shipments for accuracy.
- Match packing lists with received materials; identify and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately enter received materials into the production control system.
Order Kitting and Picking:
- Receive and log all associated products to the specified work ticket/working traveler.
- Kit all products to be distributed to the floor for production.
- Restocking of all departments within production.
Order Fulfillment and Packaging:
- Pull products from finished goods inventory per order shipment requests.
- Package/Box all products and any associated materials for customer shipment.
Restock:
- Teardown pick and place machines and recount reels using an automated reel counter.
- Count any unused screws, washers, etc. using a weight scale for accuracy.
- Restock all materials to their designated location and assign them to a location with the ERP system.
Operational Support:
- Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; restock and monitor supplies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Execute additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.
