This role will work closely with operations and maintenance personnel to identify issues, support troubleshooting efforts, and maintain plant performance.

Key Project Requirements
- 5 years of experience operating or supporting combined cycle gas turbine power plants.
- Prior experience with General Electric GE 7E or GE LM6000 gas turbine technology preferred.
- Working knowledge of plant auxiliaries, pumps, valves, compressors, water treatment, and balance-of-plant systems.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO), plant safety procedures, and field operations.
- Strong team player willing to support operations and maintenance activities as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform routine field rounds to monitor equipment status, record operating data, and identify abnormal conditions.
- Operate and monitor auxiliary equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, cooling water systems, fuel gas systems, and water treatment systems.
- Support plant start-up, shutdown, and load changes under the direction of the Control Room Operator.
- Respond to alarms, equipment issues, and operational upsets, taking corrective action within scope and escalating as needed.
- Assist with troubleshooting, minor maintenance support, and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Support emissions monitoring, water chemistry checks, and compliance-related activities.
- Execute lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, and other safety procedures in accordance with plant protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs, rounds sheets, and operating records.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and process systems in a power generation environment.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, plant schematics, and operating procedures.
- Ability to recognize abnormal equipment conditions and respond appropriately.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work closely with the control room and maintenance teams.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and support outage activities as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of power plant operations experience required; combined cycle experience preferred.
- Experience with General Electric GE 7E and/or GE LM6000 technology preferred.
- Prior Auxiliary Operator or equivalent field operations experience strongly preferred.
