Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed Primavera P6 project schedules for active construction projects
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and schedule performance against baseline schedules
- Analyze schedule impacts, delays, and critical path activities and provide recovery recommendations
- Coordinate with construction management, contractors, and project teams to ensure schedule alignment with field execution activities
- Support project controls functions including forecasting, cost tracking, productivity analysis, and progress reporting
- Assist with schedule-related reporting, earned value tracking, and project status updates for leadership teams
- Participate in planning meetings, construction coordination meetings, and project reviews
- Identify schedule risks and support mitigation planning to maintain project objectives and milestones
- Expert-level Primavera P6 scheduling experience required
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field execution activities
- Experience supporting large industrial, utility, power generation, transmission, or infrastructure projects preferred
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, schedules, and project execution plans
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite construction environment with multiple stakeholders and contractors
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
- 20 years of scheduling/project controls experience in construction or industrial project environments
- Experience supporting EPC or owner-side construction projects preferred
- Prior experience supporting large-scale utility, power generation, transmission, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
