Key Project Requirements
- 5 years of engineering experience supporting mechanical, process, utility, district energy, or power systems.
- Experience supporting the operation, troubleshooting, optimization, and capital projects of utility systems, central plants, district energy systems, CHP facilities, or similar industrial/process facilities.
- Working knowledge of chilled water, steam, heat exchangers, pumps, and other utility plant equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support the repair and optimization of customer energy transfer station equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Design, plan, budget, and manage refurbishment and capital improvement projects for customer facilities and utility infrastructure.
- Support new construction projects, system expansions, and customer connection initiatives.
- Perform engineering analyses and provide technical support for business development activities, including feasibility studies and technology assessments.
- Analyze metered data and system performance to support billing, forecasting, and operational improvements.
- Interface with customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding technical issues, permitting, and project execution.
- Prepare reports, operating summaries, and other technical documentation to support company objectives.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and utility systems, including chilled water, steam, pumps, heat exchangers, and process systems.
- Experience managing engineering or capital projects from planning through execution.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, AFT Fathom, control systems, SCADA, or data acquisition systems is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline required.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, project engineering, process engineering, power generation, district energy, or related industries.
- Experience supporting utility plants, central plants, campus facilities, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, or energy infrastructure is highly desirable.
